General Purpose

 

 

 

 

 

 

Application

Outdoor or indoor use.
For use with continuous corrugated aluminum, and interlocked steel Metal Clad MC and Teck type cables.

 

 

 

 

Features

Provides 360° armour grounding which is fully inspectable.
Grounding device remains in contact with the cable when disassembled for inspection.
Provides an outer deluge seal to prevent moisture ingress to the cable armour and enclosure. Deluge seal is coloured black to indicate general purpose product.
Provides a cable retention and low smoke and fume, zero halogen seal onto the cables outer jacket. 

 

 

Materials & Finishes

The 701 cable gland/connector is manufactured in Brass (standard), Nickel Plated Brass, 316 Stainless Steel or Aluminum. Brass NPT entries are nickel plated as standard.

3.Construction and Test Standards: UL 514B.

4.Ingress Protection: IP66, IP67 and IP68 (30 metres for 7 days) to IEC/EN 60529 and NEMA 4X.

5.Deluge Protection to: DTS01

6.Operating Temperature Range: -50°C to +60°C

7.Assembly Instruction Sheet: AI 315 (Sizes A to F). AI 342 (Sizes H to K).
