For use with pliable wire armoured cables.

 

 

 

 

Features

 

Provides armour clamping using one clamping arrangement.
Provides a seal on the cables inner sheath.
Provides a cable retention and low smoke and fume, zero halogen seal onto the cables outer sheath.

 

 

 

 

Materials & Finishes

 

The 453/T cable gland is manufactured in Brass (standard), Nickel Plated Brass or 316 Stainless Steel. Brass NPT entries are nickel plated as standard.

1. Flameproof Exd and Increased Safety Exe IM2

2. Certificate No's Baseefa08ATEX0331X and IECEx BAS 08.0112X.

3. Suitable for use in: Mines.

4. Construction and Test Standards: IEC/EN 60079-0, IEC/EN 60079-1

    and IEC/EN 60079-7.

5. Ingress Protection: IP66, IP67 and IP68 (30 metres for 7 days)

    to IEC/EN 60529.

6. Operating Temperature Range: -60°C to +80°C

7. Assembly Instruction Sheet: AI 381.
